What I'm excited about

Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be a princess, to go to a ball, and to wear a princess dress. This dream will finally come true. Prom. This year will be my first year of going to prom and I am so excited! Just being able to feel beautiful and special for a whole night is going to be so wonderful. Not only that, but I will be able to go with the guy that I've always wanted to go out with. Dreams really do come true. I'm just not sure if I can take waiting for so long, but when it's here, everything will be wonderful.

A few of my favorite things...

First; I love Music. I always have. Music has been described as a universal language breaking down barriers of language and culture and creating unity. From the first primitive drum beats, to today's synthesized sound, music has made an impression on the mood. Music effects the mood. It decides If I'm happy or sad, and helps me to forget the problem of that day. I play the guitar, piano, violin, and I sing.
Second; I love food. It has been said that some people eat to live, and other including me live to eat. I love to taste food, to savor its sensation. My attraction to food is not based on its quantity, but rather on its qualities. The textures, tastes, smells, and seasonings... There is so much variety in food that present an artistic flair to be welcomed into the basic act of eating.
Third; I love to goof around. My dad always tells me that "You decide what kind of day you will have, so make it great!" Having a good, silly day is better than sulking around in a rain cloud. Being happy makes everything better. It helps you, and those around you to have a fantastic day!
Fourth; I love my family. Family to me is my safe harbor. Family is love. When I go home I find people who know and love me the best. When I'm at my house I don't have to warry about what others think of, or about me. Home gives me a chance to become better every time I'm there.
Fifth; Movies. I love to quote watch and review movies. Movies help me to get away from the pressures of this world. They help me to escape and They give me humor in the process.

New and improved dreams

Becoming a greater me is something that I've decided to become when I'm older. Dreaming big is better than not dreaming, so I believe in dreaming big! I want to be the women version of Josh Groben. Josh Groben is an icon for all singers, in fact according to music, he is THE best vocalist of our time. Ever since I was little, I've been involved in music, but mostly vocal abilities. I love to sing! I've always wanted to be remembered somehow through music, and if I apply myself to the best of my abilities, I can and will achieve my dreams.Having music for my job would be the best thing that I could do with myself, because I know that I could be good through Music.
I plan to make this dream come true by staying true to myself, and believing that I can do this. I have been taking vocal training for a while and will continue to improve on myself until I achieve this goal. I plan to go to college and work towards a masters degree in music, and hopefully, join the singing and dancing group, The Young Ambassadors. This singing group travels the world singing and dancing for all cultures. I've gone to 3 years of this BYU camp and hopefully, I will be excepted into this group.
I think that I really don't need to become famous to achieve my dream though. I feel that if and when I become a greater me, I need to share it to the world by teaching it. Through giving away my talents, I know that I can give myself to the next generation, and the next, and the next. When this happens, I will be remembered, but in a way that others can be the stars instead of me.
You really don't need to be a movie star to make a difference in the world. I think that if I did decide to try out for American Idol, and did well in the competition, I would change the way I am, and that scares me. The "American Idols" all change into complete and utter whores, and I don't want to be that.
Becoming a greater me: My singing teacher says, " You can become the greatest singer in the world if you work hard for it. Becoming a star would be good for you, but that's it. People remember you as the singer instead of the person." I want to be "the person." This is why I want to teach music. If I become the best of the best, that's good, but if I give it to others, I truly can become a greater me, because of my service to society, instead of my achievements.
